Spring Has Arrived,
Spring is here and its time to clean up the beds of Winter debris and remove any broken limbs from plant material. The beds will need mulched to help retain moisture over the hot Summer months. Mulching can hurt the plant material though if your not careful. Remove any mulch that is volcanoing around the colars of the trees and plants, remove the mulch that is tight and over 3 inches in depth in the beds and install a new base of aprox 2.5 inches thick spreading the mulch evenly. Lawns are now ready for fertilizations and weed control we recommend you have a professional perform your treatments as you can burn the lawn easly. A yearly soil test is always great to perform before starting your fertilization program so you know what direction to take your program.
